Yurara is a supernatural romance like none other before it. Yurara is in love with Mei, but her spirit guardian is in love with Yako! It certainly adds a kink to this love triangle which has become a ghostly square and a romantic conundrum that might take facing death itself to find the answer in the final volume of the entrancing manga series. What happened between her and Yako has left Yurara feeling confused, upset, and ashamed. She can’t even face Mei. The strain of her feelings for the two boys has left her in such a state that her health fails. Concerned, neither man wants to give up on winning her heart, but one of them does step aside before she breaks in two and it might cost all of them everything. The break up within the group leaves all hearts in turmoil while opening the door to imminent and grave danger. Mei is in terrible peril. But just when she needs the strength of her guardian the most, the spirit leaves her telling her that Yurara must rely on her own power. The spirit refuses to help, even if it means it will cost anther their life! With that life possibly being someone very dear to Yurara’s heart, the girl with hidden power must find a way to awaken it in time to save the person she loves. As for saving all their hearts in regards to the love quandary they are in, that finds itself in a scene that is heartbreaking at the end, yet with a follow up that opens the door to wondrous possibilities. The final volume winds up the story very well. It resolves the love problems and I think it will prove to be to most readers’ satisfaction. There are tremendous moments of shojo drama and suspense that will have fans on the edge of their seats and heart in hand. It is an exciting concluding volume to the series.
IN SUMMARY: Yurara comes to a thrilling conclusion to find out who ends up with whom and at what otherworldly cost in this final volume. |
