Sango and Yuuhi are at last together, but they haven’t quite gone all the way yet. With summer break coming up, Yuuhi is hoping for some alone time with the quiet Sango. But his fellow dorm mates are up to no good and stir up Yuuhi’s insecurities about Sango’s past love. Unsure, perhaps even jealous, the inexperienced Yuuhi doesn’t know what to do and this little chicken head is running in circles in the final volume of Can’t Win With You.

Even the best laid plans of chicken heads don’t always work out as planned. But sometimes they might work out to something even better. Yuuhi and Sango end up alone in the dorm together and Sango is beside himself. He’s trying to restrain his passion for Yuuhi, but the guy is so gosh darned cute he’s having a hard time controlling himself. Could this be “the night”?

One of my personal favorites out of the various stories about dorm love involves Hayate and a seductive ghost. It seems his desires for Kanya have attracted the supernatural attention of an invisible admirer! Now Kanya must find a way to free his lover from the ghost’s insanely erotic attentions. It’s a unique rivalry for this fiery pair.

Don’t think Kai of the student council has given up on having fun with Yuuhi. Playing on the naïve fellow’s insecurities over his new relationship, they have him attending a “newlywed seminar” where part of the course involves apron lab work and no other clothing! Hopefully word will reach Sango in time to rescue his precious lover from their mischievous clutches.

Sango’s reassuring nature will be required again by the high-strung Yuuhi when he’s chosen to play Alice in the traditional Alice in Wonderland school production. But dressing in drag is a tradition he’d rather take a pass on. The final volume ends on a cute tale about the Director and Tori, showing their relationship heating up when the Director comes down with a cold.

IN SUMMARY:
It’s romance in every corner and proof that love isn’t something you can learn in a text book in the final volume of this endearing romance.
