eBookJapan, Japan’s largest online bookseller has launched an enormous manga online catalog service called “Manga Daimokuroku” on May 20, and has introduced 18 thousands titles so far. The official site, daimokuroku.com, is managed by eBookJapan, and users can search on over 20 thousand e-books with free sorting.

Due to the considerable needs for manga titles among other e-books, eBookJapan has selected manga as its first content on its new service, and the number of titles will increase with 500 new titles every month, with distinctive search functionalities that individuals can use to query titles they are looking for.

The search functionality features a book-like page tuner, as if an individual is turning pages in a book. Users can also sort titles in total, genre, creators, and serialization categories with sales ranking, new arrival, and alphabetical order. Moreover, “Sogo Tosho Daimokuroku”, a huge catalog for comprehensive books is slated as an addition to the site in July.
