This time around, Keiichi and his goddess Belldandy must contend with her feuding siblings, a trip to the beach that is anything but safe, Bento box conspiracies, a ghost intent on possessing Keiichi, and a master ninja infiltrating their household!

It all starts with a simple trip with the Auto Club to a mansion. There they meet a pretty maid who has her eye on Keiichi. But it isn’t exactly what some might think. A promise by his grandfather and one very persistent spirit come to play in a charming episode that mixes the mystical with the emotional for an endearing tale. It is also one of the stories taken for the final episodes of the second season of the Ah! My Goddess anime.

Next, Sora is a timid girl who suddenly is foisting her Bento boxes onto Keiichi.  Anyone familiar with manga and anime knows that making a lunch for a boy is usually a sign that she likes him. Urd tries to interfere while Belldandy gives the shy girl cooking lessons.  With Urd’s tampering, Sora’s Bento box might be packing much more than a meal. In the end, readers will find out who Sora really likes and again another chapter shows just how kind hearted both Belldandy and Keiichi truly are.

From there things heat up when Urd plays fortune teller and commands Keiichi to go to the beach. He thinks he must confess his love to Belldandy in certain way at a specific time in order to ensure that they stay together. However, while Urd continues to scheme to get these lovebirds closer, Skuld is pulling out every trick she knows to break them apart. The aftermath is what no one could expect, leaving Skuld possibly in love with Keiichi! Once back home, she is not acting like her usual self. Keiichi tries to take her out to cheer her up, but Urd has her own ideas and interferes. Unexpectedly this pits her against Belldandy who wants her older sister to butt out of it. Usually it’s Urd and Skuld fighting, this time it’s Urd against the sweet and persistent Belldandy in an unusual rivalry.

The final chapter is one of the more humorous tales when Mara attempts to bedevil the goddesses and Keiichi again. This time she awakens the small ninja master Kodama. She may be short but she is fiercely intent on doing her duty and breaking apart Keiichi and Belldandy. Before this couple has had to fight goddesses, devils, ghosts, and even the Lord of Terror. Can they defeat a master ninja?

Manga extras include fan letters and drawings, a message from Kosuke Fujishima, four pages of full color manga, and more “Adventures of Mini-Urd” comic strips.

IN SUMMARY:
Ninja attacks, possessive spirits, and a sister’s crush are just the start of the comedic calamities in the latest volume of this charming manga.
