When Esther catches up with Abel, she tells him how she really feels about his transformation.  This happens with excellent timing because Abel needs her help to stop the Iblis.

After the Iblis is shut down, Abel, Esther and Ion proceed to the Empire, as envoys from the Vatican and disguised as Terrans for safety’s sake.  During the voyage, Esther and Abel get captured by pirates and rescued after a while.  Since the pirates destroyed their ship, they sailed the rest of the way on the pirates’ ship.  Once arriving in the Empire, Ion went to visit his grandmother, the Duke of Moldova, and found a massacre. He went on to fight the assassins, and found out the Yeniceri, the Royal Elite Guard, believes that he did the deed.  Meanwhile, something sinister is brewing within the Empire’s political system.  Someone behind the scenes seems to be pulling strings like a puppeteer.

The drama and emotional intensity run high in this volume and don’t stop even at the end.  It does have lighter moments than volume 5.  However, the danger is still very real and becoming more and more complex.  This is due largely to the change of setting as readers get their first real look at life in the Empire.  Now that their only Methuselah ally has been branded as a criminal all hands have turned against Abel and Esther.

Extras include a four panel comics, author’s notes, a preview of the next volume, and bookmark of Ion, Earl of Memphis, exclusive to this manga volume.

SUMMARY:
A city is saved and an Empire is in danger, while Abel, Esther and Ion try to save the Empire.  Trinity Blood delivers its magic with more deadly politics, alliances and enemies in this latest volume.
