Last volume the DC and the Feds took the fight out of this world – to space! Now it’s time for the big battle, the final confrontation between DC and the Federation. The Federation airship Hagwane is on route to deliver a crippling blow to the DC by attacking their main headquarters on Aidoneus Island. But first they’ll have the air fight of their lives when the DC mecha units attack! More mecha battles and more mecha action in the volume, plus an end of a chapter and start of a new battle. Old friends become new enemies in the last stand fight of the Federation against the DC. It’s take no prisoners and Zoldark, the leader of the DC, intends exactly that. Hagwane may have the ultimate cannon, but Zoldark has built a gigantic ultimate mecha - the Valsion! It will take all of the Federation’s mecha troops to take him on and even then it might not be enough! But Zoldark has important stuff to say in his final words to the Federation pilots and it has everyone thinking the same thing – have they been fighting on the wrong side? With the DC scattered, Hagwane is sent to pick up the pieces and eliminate the rogue factions of the DC under Koch that have refused to surrender. It leads them to the nation of Riksent where they must save a princess from being abducted. Just what do those mean agents of the DC want with some spoiled rich girl? She’s the last member of the royal line. But what does that have to do with the battle ahead? The Federation may have defeated DC but the real enemy, the alien Aerogaters are on their way to Earth. Now the real war is about to begin! The anime holds up super sweet with clear and crisp visuals. They’re crucial to a mecha anime’s appeal. It just won’t work if the machines look fuzzy! No worries here, right from the opening episode, there’s been few anime mecha style that have been sharper than Super Robot Wars.
