It’s the penultimate volume. Will one of these two step-sibs in love steal that precious taboo kiss? You’ll find out in this volume! There’re many heart-pounding moments for Otome this time. She and Minami almost kiss and it sets her pulse a racing! What happens next not only leaves Minami out in the cold, he catches a cold too! They like each other but they have to fight. They can’t resist pushing each other’s buttons. Heavens forbid they admit how they really feel! Otome tries to make up with him but he’s decided he has to put some distance in order to get over his forbidden love. He moves out and gets a job at a cake shop. Is it a try to get closer with his mean and distant dad? Maybe, but I think it has a whole lot more to do with the girl he can’t get off his mind – his sister (Keep in mind these two siblings are in no way related!). Well, these two are going to be put through the test. Both of them are lonely without the other and a ring along with a whispered wish leaves two hearts in turmoil! Amane fights for Otome’s attention but he doesn’t have a chance with her mind whirling over her step-bro. Then at the Cultural Fair Amane upsets her, but being paired as Minami’s bride is too much for Otome’s nerves and then one of them breaks! Just what happens? Something readers have been waiting for a long time. But now that they’ve kissed just what will Otome do? Can she buy a clue to her heart? Can these two get over the taboo of their titillating feelings and be together? Will they take the plunge? The answer is coming up with only one volume left to go! Amane-kun really proves himself manly in this volume. He lays it on the line for Otome, fights for the girl he likes, and takes a selfless step for her happiness. Wow. Now I’m torn whether to root for Amane or Minami!
