A year has passed since the awful mountain avalanche that stole Yuuki’s rugged man Tsukada from him. Since then he’s been a shell of himself, taking care of his café and dealing with the increasingly uncomfortable attentions of his longtime school friend Shin. Then a vagabond man walks into the café. He has a dark piercing gaze, rough and rugged looks, and happens to be a chef as well as a mountain climber. Can he scale the heights of the walls around Yuuki’s grief-stricken heart? Romance tied up with a big fat ribbon of angst, that’s what this novel is all about. Shin wants Yuuki, Yuuki yearns for his dead lover Tsukada, and newcomer Kamashiro seems to want to cook…and clean, and move in with Yuuki. Seems he’s managed to slide on in to Yuuki’s life. Before Yuuki knows it he’s getting used to Kamashiro’s manly ways around him, really, really used to it. And others are noticing, specifically selfish Shin. A drunken night changes everything between all three men when Shin makes his move, Yuuki reacts, and Kamashiro has more than just words to say about it! Just like a manly man to take matters into his own hands! The sex is down and dirty for such a steely romance. And it has more than one surprise in it. Seems someone out of this trio has a big, fat secret and it will rock and shock the world of the person it relates to. A new avalanche might be in the works and it has nothing to do with rocks! Plus the illustrations here and there in the yaoi novel ser steamy stuff, showing the pretty Yuuki, the intense Shin, and the determined manly Kamashiro in various forms of drama and wanton abandon.
