Ren is still stunted in his ability to capture the character of the lead actor in the film, stalling production and putting him in a tailspin. Kyoko tries to help him out, but the solution they attempt might reveal more than they want in the latest thrilling volume of Skip Beat. Kyoko again dons the chicken outfit to try to comfort Ren and help him. Still unknowing of her true identity in that costume, he unloads, revealing that he does have feelings for a younger woman. However it also hints at his troubled past when he states that he cannot reveal such feelings, not just because of the girl being in high school, but because he can never succumb to such emotions or allow himself to explore love in his life. The reasons why remain unclear, but does Kyoko guess that the girl he logons for is her? Not Kyoko. She’s too wrapped up in her concern for him to buy a clue. Things however take quite the turn when he asks Kyoko later to join him at his apartment. He wants to improvise a scene as their movie characters. What happens next could reveal a great deal more about their innermost desires than the motivation behind their characters! The interactions at Ren’s apartment are fascinating. Both he and Kyoko are trying to stay in character but each war with their innermost feelings and what comes out? Is it their characters or their true selves? Either way, Ren has hopefully mastered his character because the production company has insisted that he prove himself in the next day of filming or he’s fired! His next scene may well be his last but Ren has a condition of his own! The drama has just begun in Skip Beat.

An acting exercise isn’t hiding what lies beneath in the latest volume of Skip Beat.
