Gon and Killua survived the Greed Island game, but with the NGL (Neo-Green Life) game, the stakes have gone up! Kite is either missing or worse, but Gon is determined that he’s going to get stronger and find Kite and rescue his comrade again. But to win NGL they have to fight Knuckles and Shoot and they don’t even know who these two opponents are!

The fighting continues. Is Gon getting closer to finding his dad? I have no idea, but he sure is learning a lot and getting to be a better Hunter along the way. He faces off against Knuckles and the fight doesn’t go the way anyone expected. It ends up being the best 2 out of 3 as Knuckles keeps coming back for more and Gon is in for some major surprises. Gon’s got a weakness and his opponent might have just figured it out! Killua is still in the picture but he’s got his own problems. He’s being told that if he keeps by Gon’s side, he’ll be the death of Gon! He’s being pressured to leave his friend, thinking he might be Gon’s biggest weakness. Just who is messing with Killua’s mind and why? But he can’t figure that out yet because he has to fight the freaky Shoot first and this guy won’t be any cake walk, that‘s for sure!

With Rock, you see the similarities between Hunter x Hunter and YuYu Hakusho the most so far in the series. He looks a lot like a certain carrot top from the other manga.

IN SUMMARY:
There’s a big fight and unsettling stuff messing with Killua in the most recent manga volume. It’s high energy shonen action!
