Train is hot on the trial of the whereabouts of Creed and the Apostles of the Stars, but it comes at a price! Glin will give him the information only if he wins against the sweeper River who can punch bullets out of the air with his hands. They meet with Train who is set to try to subdue River, but River wants to turn this into a death match! The battle kicks off the latest volume and opens the door to a whole new arc. Here, in this volume, it is the beginning of the Sweepers Alliance. Glin will take only the most cunning and he has a special video game that Train must get through in order to find out the info he needs. Only with Eve’s help does he have a chance. With only one out of his five game lives left and still four out of the five levels to go, can Train make it with Eve’s help? Meanwhile Sven continues to undergo his severe training to extend the time on his vision eye. It has Rinslet concerned, but Sven insists that he will not be a burden when he fights along Train this time. With ten sweepers chosen, the Alliance heads off by boat to the island where they will find the Apostles of the Stars and Creed. But an aerial assault sees their surprise attack go down in flames and the Alliance is separated. Each of them is on a separate area of the island and the Apostles have spread out to finish them off one by one! This kicks off the new arc on the island that will undoubtedly feature many battles with the various sweepers and Apostles, building up ultimately to the much anticipated face off between Creed and Train. There’s lots of action in this volume and to look ahead to in the most recent turn of evens in Black Cat.
IN SUMMARY:
A new arc begins as a Sweeper Alliance is formed and Train and his friends set off to attack the headquarters of the Apostles of the Stars!
