New montly manga to feature original dojin manga from authors of "Manga Yomo" over the web with new Flash enabled technology.
Fantasista, which administers the manga-specialty SNS "Manga Yomo!", has launched "Monthly Indies Comics", which will distribute original dojin manga on the web. It will focus on works by members of "Manga Yomo!"
Technology distribution of the manga on the web is usually through Flash Pure “mixPaper”, which features the ability to turn pages as if you’re reading an actual graphic novel. However, the technology is far from perfect as the images are downloaded and stored in Internet browser’s cache, which make is possible to create illegal copies. In this particular distribution, Monthly Indies will utilize “KeyringFLASH” that applies DRM in the electornic book field to protect copyrighted materials.
