The second round starts off with some comedy and a whole lot more demon killing action when a waitress tells a blockhead that he’ll have to be more like Dante if he hopes to win her heart. So what does the idiot do? He follows around the demon hunter and ends up in a load of trouble way, WAY over his meaty head!

The episode was super funny. But don’t think they short you on the action. No way in…well you know what. All sorts of demon action going down all throughout the volume and the funny stuff doesn’t let that lag just became they give you some laughs with the blood splatter.

Slick tunes and gun play rock the town when a human-turned-devil tries to regain her rockin’ album. Then you have to be careful what you wish for when a guy off fishing reels in way more than he can stomach! Just wait until you find out what Lady’s wish is. Deadly babes with bazookas. It makes life so much more fun! The last episode on the disc has Dante trying to find out who thinks he’s started a fire that burned down a town. I thought with this being the second out of three discs, it would start to head into an ongoing story for the final volume. But not really, it has its steady stream of killer action and hard rock to keep it jammin’ all night long! My one complaint – not enough of Lady! Bring on the kick ass babes! Hopefully there will be more of her in the final volume.

You can so tell that the anime has been done by some of the same people who brought us Ninja Scroll and the Highlander animated movie. The action is smooth, the blood splatter abundant, and the women are all mature and super fine.

EXTRAS:
Extra goodies include Devil May Cry 4 game trailers and cut scenes, there’s clean opening and closing animation, and ADV previews. Plus you have your choice of volume 2 all by itself, or the volume with an art box to collect the 3 disc series.

IN SUMMARY:
Slick action, hard rock, and mega gun play has the devil singing the blues this volume of Devil May Cry!

I have always enjoyed the Devil May Cry game, and will have to take a look at this as from this review it seems a must see.
Dante has such a dry sense of humor, so it will be interesting to see what this is like.
