That sword wielding half-demon Kyrie is sure an attention grabber. She’s got the curves, the moves, and the huge deadly sword if all the rest fails. She’s been slummin’ at Marie and Elie’s with no job and no idea what to do next. She’s swinging around that hunk of metal giving sword lessons, even to those who shouldn’t take them. The girls, bless their misguided hearts, try to help by making a wooden golem to help practice why Kyrie goes out to find real work. But then there’s a wooden golem running amuck and that’s not the only danger! Kyrie isn’t the only one from the Demon World out visiting Zarlburg. Strafe the demon hound is back and he’s in human form roaming the streets and catching the eye, or the other way around, of a certain cutie cleric. Plus there’s the Black Knight, the biggest baddest demon and he’s in town! Kyrie might be able to leave home, but it seems like home sure didn’t want to leave her!

Woo hoo, there hasn’t been a fantasy adventure comedy this good since Slayers. It’s been a long time coming and the Zarlburg Alchemist manga is it! There’s a golem running around wreaking havoc and it’ll have a chance at a return later in the story. Plus all the demon stuff has a lot of the characters hoppin’. Strafe does find Kyrie. Will it be a battle to the death? In this comedy manga I don’t think so! Instead things take a totally quirky turn and it’s anyone’s guess how this will all turn out for the gang.

Back at the shop, Marie is invited not only to have her two elves compete as students in the upcoming magic competition, she’s invited to join the academy as a teacher! Can this booze guzzlin’ lazy adventure lovin’ gal put all her bad habits in the past and become a respectable professor?  Even she doesn’t think so! But that competition has her thinking. Just what could her future hold?

IN SUMMARY:
More laughs, more fun and great fantasy mishaps and magical mayhem in the latest volume. It’s more laughs than you can shake a flying broom at!
