At last, Suguri has moved out of Teppei’s and in with Momo, the shy dog groomer who now works with her at Woofles. But the celebration is short lived. Lupin’s bad behavior has Suguri trying a training regime on him, one that takes discipline on her part as much as Lupin’s. But a fateful moment splits these two apart. Now the dog is lost and Suguri is an understandable wreck. It’s the journey of Lupin in the latest and greatest doggy manga ever. Lupin’s story is out and out heart breaking. The poor dog is roughed up, starved, and lost something fierce. My gosh, he has no homing sense. It would break anyone’s heart to see an innocent animal so distraught and hard done by as this guy. He meets up with a nice kid who doesn’t have a clue what to feed a dog, Lupin even has some love that turns sour after he’s chased off by a mean bigger and vicious beast, and ends up wandering the country side, hungry, hurt and all alone! Poor doggie! I cried this volume! Suguri and her friends really pull together to help her. They even help her perform a song to get the locals and beyond interested. The whole word of mouth thing will hopefully lead her to a reunion with her beloved canine. The big drama of Lupin being lost takes up most of this volume, but afterwards when we can all take a breath again, the story turns to other stuff. Teppei’s mother visits the store and Suguri tries to suss her out. It could be the soft spot for dogs didn’t fall far from the tree. Also find out what happens on a Woofles’s day off, the girls hit the beach and Teppei is up to something else. Plus the manga has more pet dog gallery photos.
IN SUMMARY:
This is the type of manga that will leave you wanting to hug your furry friends!
