Two controlling and competitive businessmen and one important account become a liaison like none other in Love Control. Kei Yamashiro has an unrivaled pride in his work that is only matched by his cool demeanor and immaculate attention to detail. When he meets his newest client, the affluent and rich Takashi Okumura whose ego is as overwhelming as is his ability to take control of any situation, Yamashiro decides to win his hard won control back. But when love enters the ring, the competition hits an all new plateau for these to boardroom players.

A well paced and entertaining yaoi about high class businessmen, Love Control is filled with alluring men in business suits who know how to use their power for their own ends. Yamashiro thinks Okumura is only playing him with all the man’s teases and stolen kisses, but when Yamashiro ups the ante to wrest power back, he’s in for a big surprise. Each man constantly tries to turn the tables on the other and it’s an interesting cat and mouse game where one sometimes wonders just which is the mouse? Love and business make an interesting mix with the spice of pride and control thrown in to this romance.

The art work does a lovely rendering of handsome haughty men in business attire. There are many beautiful illustrations to enjoy. The manga also has two bonus stories. The first involves a tale of two lost souls. A practical joke is the catalyst for two very different people meeting – a brusque business man and a young hellion. But they find out in one fateful day that they are perhaps far more alike than any would guess. The story proved to be a far more poignant piece than expected and touching. The last extra is a side story involving Okumura and Yamashiro during the summer time.

IN SUMMARY:
Two men at the top of their game are about to meet their match in and out of the boardroom in the business oriented romance Love Control.

To be honest, the cover looks angsty. It doesn't sound like an angsty story, though. It looks more like a competition rather than a struggle in the review. That should be interesting!
