GHOST IN THE SHELL LIVE ACTION AND IN 3D

Director Steven Speilberg brings Ghost in the Shell to DreamWorks for a live action 3D adaptation.


DreamWorks acquires the manga rights for Masumune Shirow's Ghost in the Shell with plans to adapt the series to a live-action 3D feature film. While Universal and Sony Pictures were after the rights, Steven Spielberg too personal interest in the matter, and brought it to DreamWorks. "'Ghost in the Shell' ins one of my favorite stories."  said by the famed director. Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence animated feature filme was released by DreamWorks in 2004.

No information on when the film will start production or will be released.

Finally announced. Been waiting for it. Heard a rumor about this last year. 
 
Still waiting on that Battle Angel Alita adaptation Cameron started nearly a decade ago... 
 
And I've always said that anime adaptations were coming. Nobody believed me. XD Take that, college!
