An all new yaoi anthology to enjoy and each are about taboo relationships! In “Love Lesson” a rebellious student is hot for his teacher. When he’s told that it’s wrong, he quits school so that he’s not the timid guy’s student anymore! What happens next…! In “Name it on Spring”, fans are given a light romance between a long time out gay friend and his high school pal when they are reunited in college. Then with “A Broken Piece of You”, a bit of heartbreak enters the picture when an emotional young man burns with jealousy and heartache when he thinks his tutor turned lover loves somebody else.

Each of the stories touch on the taboo love of a young man pursuing a slightly older love interest (really negligibly older in my opinion, they’re hardly May-December relationships). The manga does have fun playing on having the younger men take control romantically or sexually of the people in authority who are older than them. A little turning of the tables.

Don’t be fooled by “Uncle and Me’. This is absolutely in no way an incest story! It’s about a guy who always crushed on the extremely distantly related (Is there such a thing as a great grand uncle?) elder (not that much ‘elder’) guy who comforted him during a funeral, and another funeral reunites them. Then in “Name in the Sky” a young man who left his small town to not be tempted by the one he loved and couldn’t be with, is drawn back by that irresistible thing called love.

The last story is my personal favorite. It’s way more dramatic than the others and because of that, a lot more gripping. In “Love Me Tender” a young man with a harsh past is rescued by a bartender with a heart of gold. He promises the emotionally hardened young man that he won’t sleep with him until his love is returned. And the waiting for sex is driving the younger Tomo nuts. He depends on people just wanting to use him, the kindness he gets from Harada is driving him up the wall…and piercing his wounded heart. It’s a tender story and I loved every minute of it.

The art throughout the anthology was surprisingly inconsistent. Some stories have a very basic form, while other stories like “Tender” held a nice illustrative quality.

IN SUMMARY:
Six tales of forbidden love, can you resist the temptation?

Another anthology? They just keep coming and coming! I'll get King of Debt if I'm going to buy an anthology! We yaoi fans crave longer series, I know there's more of them out there! Yaoi artists are at their prime when creating longer series.
