Takuru and Kazuma barely escaped the robots of Eden upon gazing at the blue Earth to safely returned inside the Freedom section of Eden with proof that Earth has recovered from the calamity of 2101. Their safety didn’t last too long as Eden robots and officials are once again on their tails.
Knowing that Eden has lied to them, Takuru decided that he and Kazumu will return to Earth to find out the truth and to meet the girl he has been obsessing about. Needing a ship to get back to Earth, Allan provides them with an escape route that will lead them to an old launching pad with an escape pod. With all of the assistance he’s been providing to the kids, Allen and the Freedom citizen were apprehended and are heading for remedial education back in Eden. From there, the chase started and Taira and his gang involved themselves in the chase as they provided support for Takuru and his friends. Upon reaching their destination, Takuru, Kazuma, Biz, and Taira started the pre-flight checks but time is running out as Eden forces and officials are closing in on their location. In the end, the reluctant Biz ends up with Takuru in the pod heading to Earth while Kazuma and Taira are taken into custody. Freedom 3 turns out to be the most exciting volume, and it could easily be the most action oriented 25 minutes of anime that you will ever see. The chase scenes from the beginning and in the tube racecourse are pulse-pounding action, and even the ending will have you at the edge of your seat, even when part of the scenes are very emotional between the three friends. Most important of all, Freedom will continue to keep you yearning for more as it teases you about what could happen next. EXTRAS:
Extras are only accessible when you watch the OVA on HD. It comes with Volume 4 trailer and the 3D CG Simulation Video with picture-in-picture feature in 5.1 channels. IN SUMMARY:
Freedom 3 will not only keep you wanting more, but it delivers a jammed packed pulse pounding action that will keep you at the edge of your seat and imagination.
