ack from their mission, Allen brings the retrieved Innocence and intends to give it to Reever, but something is amiss! Officer Komui's robot called Komlin hs got out of control and is locating and intent on terminating exorcists in his way. Komui thought by making a robot version of him it would make their lives a lot better as it could take on his workload. Komlin tears around the castle, destroying the place, but when Lenalee intervenes and stops it, the others set about repairing the destruction.
Allen safely gives the Innocence to Hevlaska who tells Allen and Komui that she now has forty-one of the Innocence, and more should be brought. Allen and Lenalee are sent on another deadly mission to a city where time repeats itself every day, and Miranda Lotto who works there is the only one unaffected by the time warp. Allen is going to have to keep a watch on Lenalee as in this madcap gothic action thriller anything can and will happen. Many will find the great number of characters in this series a bonus rather than a burden as in so many novels, and normally the reader would not think that at all. They are all in their own way different, and bring a sense of peculiar and fun to the whole series, which the reader will enjoy. Road Camelot is an unusual character more seen in most gothic novels and is perfect in these books. With each novel comes Allen getting to know the characters more when he works with them, but none more so than when he is on a mission. It is Lenalee's turn to go with him and experience his awesome power and kindness to others - even Akuma. Though, once Road Camelot enters the Rewinding City, Allen knows he will be in for a dangerous strike from one who has sided with the Millenium Earl and intends to get rid of him for good. The story gets more detailed and impressive with every volume and this one is no different. IN SUMMARY: Time warps and gothic humour. One hell of a good read! |
