Chiemi and Hirata have had a rough and tumble romance, hoodlums that they are, but they haven’t met any obstacle quite like Chiemi’s pro-wrestling dad! He has a serious daughter complex and he’ll go to any length to ensure his sweet little hooligan girl doesn’t shack up with a guy not worthy of his thug princess!
This manga is too much fun! I laugh out loud every volume! The dating thing is going slow but sweet. Then when her dad finds out about Hirata it’s all goofball time! He was once a villain, down and dirty pro-wrestler who would pull out every dirty trick in and out of the book. Now he’s a guy with a beer gut and still plays dirty when it comes to driving his daughter and the guy she loves up a tree! This is a dad who doesn’t know the meaning of the word “boundaries”. He actually takes his daughter and padlocks her in a room (meaning a cell) to see if her boyfriend will measure up. Hirata has no idea what to make of the craziness that is perhaps his future father in law, but after a few days of this, enough is enough and it’s boyfriend versus daddy dearest in one crazy rooftop brawl! The second volume is just as funny as the first. It ends with Hirata having hormone problems when he notices how irresistible Chiemi looks in her tennis uniform. She reads him all wrong and thinks his distance is rejection. In reality he’s barely controlling his lust for the girl he loves! When they get locked in the sports shed together, it’s his chance to explain things and maybe to take their relationship that one step further…Will he get to second base or what? Plus the hilarious manga has an extra special bonus about Chiemi’s dad. IN SUMMARY: Romance was never so rough or so funny! A romance manga that guys can enjoy as much as the girls – finally! |
