FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST MANGA EXCEEDS 30 MILLION IN SALES IN JAPAN
News
Monday, 31 March 2008
Fullmetal Alchemist manga exceeds 30 million in sales after the release of volume 19 on March 22 in Japan. The sales record was achieved within seven years since it was first published in Square Enix’s Shonen GunGun in 2001. While the manga is very much related to the anime series, Volume 19 was the top ranking manga during the week of March 17 – 23; indicates the popularity of the series even after the animated series has ended its broadcast.
