Six stories all about unrequited love, secret crushes and long held desires. First in “Color of Love”, Nao loves his pal Tairo. But they’ve been best friends since forever. He’s scared about losing the person he depends on the most. He even goes about having a girlfriend, but now Tairo is mad at him. What could be wrong? Maybe Nao was missing the obvious all along!

In “The Ideal Love” Sasaki loves Maki. He always consoles him and gives him TLC when he gets dumped. This time the days stretch into weeks, the weeks into months, until Sasaki starts to wonder if his dream has at last come true. But he knows he’s not Maki’s ideal type. This gets proven when Maki’s old flame breezes in and turns everything upside down! Will Maki stop being so superficial and buy the big fat clue hitting him upside the head?

Then in “How to be Happy” Best pal Kazuki confessed his love to Kouta. The big problem is that years before Kazuki had rejected Kouta for just that! What’s with the turnaround? Heartbreak could be clear ahead. Later the stories mix it up with different kinds of pairings. The forbidden love between a bellboy and the director of a prestigious hotel lead to a drunken night with huge repercussions. In the other, a tender love story between to close friends has bumps in the road when one of them uses his glasses as a unique form of denial. And last in a comedic change up, two friends and one awkward confession with completely missed signals make a sweet little love story.

Each is fun, each tackles the subject of unrequited love in different ways. The art is not quite the usual standard, but the stories are super sweet.

Tales of unrequited love fill to overflowing in this manga anthology with yaoi stories about romance between friends and co-workers.
