Strap yourselves in for the punk styled fairy tale of your lives! It’s more fun, magic and chaos than you can shake a broom at in the all new manga series Fairy Tail! It’s got dudes with ‘tudes, gals with guts, and all sorts of magical mayhem!

Lucy is a wizard and this girl wants it all! She wants to hook up with the most respected and feared guild in the land – Fairy Tail. When she meets the famous fire wizard nicknamed Salamander, her dreams she thinks are about to come true. But if Lucy had read more manga like we do, she’d know that something shady must be going down because there’s a whole manga series coming up so her dreams can’t come true that fast. So instead of a happily ever after, she finds herself kidnapped as part of a slavery ring! Wouldn’t you know it, the real fire wizard shows up and wow, are her dreams going down in flames! This guy is crazy! He’s totally nuts, fights like a demon and has a winged cat for a friend. Of all the things she was prepared for, Natsu was not it.

But Lucy isn’t the type of girl to give up easily. She does end up at the Fairy Tail wizard guild and she does get taken on and one of her first undertakings is to help zany boy Natsu save his buddy. She sees how loyal this group of wizards is, underneath all the tattoos, crazy hairdos and crazier personalities. They’re a motley bunch but she wants to be part of the insanity. If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em!

The manga comes by way of Hiro Mashima, the creator of Rave Master.  This manga is off the hook! If you love One Piece here’s your heads up – pick up Fairy Tail now, now, now! It’s got the same addictive energy, its own crazy style and whacky characters that do all sorts of cool stuff. The magic is different for every person. Natsu does all kinds of jaw-dropping dragon fire stunts. Lucy though has her own set of skills. She’s a celestial wizard and can summon zodiac signs to her aid. But these zodiac characters don’t exactly look like any star sign I’ve ever seen. It’s more off-the-wall fun. The art work is zany, it’s explosive with action all the time. There’s no sense of stillness here. It’s adrenalin and fun a-go-go-go! The cover even is embossed (which I find particularly cool). And the manga comes with translation notes and author remarks. And for something completely different, the first two volumes of the manga are being released on the same day!

IN SUMMARY:
If you enjoy One Piece, you will love Fairy Tail!
