Could Sho's newfound confidence be enough to beat the hatred of Genzo Makishima towards him? Finally, Guyver III makes his debut in this second and exciting volume of "Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor".
With continued unsuccessful efforts to recapture Guyver I, the Chronos Japanese Branch director, Genzo Makishima, becomes an experimental Anti-Guyver Zoanoid named Enzyme to once and for all take his revenge on Sho.
As Genzo's transformation is still in progress, the attempt to take the unit away from Sho continues with a clash with Noskov and Myumelzee as Zoanoid creatures. In a grim situation against Sho, Noskov takes Tetsuro and Mizuki hostage as a last ditch effort to force Sho to give himself up. However, Noskov is taken by surprise when Guyver III unexpectedly makes his bloody mark in battle, and the two units finally meet face to face. Yet, Guyver III's sudden appearance alerts Chronos that someone they are unaware of possesses the third unit.
With the latest incident with Tetsuro and Mizuki, Sho bravely decides to face the opposition alone, but Tetsuro persists to stay by his side. Tetsuro's friendship and support provides Sho the confidence he needs to battle Chronos, and he promises Tetsuro that both of them will return home together at the conclusion of their battles.
But will Sho's new confidence and pledge be enough to overcome his inexperience in battle and beat a more powerful Zoanoid that is full of hatred for him? In the end, Tetsuro finds himself learning the foundation and the mysteries of the Zoanoid directly from Guyot, the head of Chronos. However, the scheming Guyver III keeps looming in the background and is ready to deal Chronos a considerable blow.
In this volume, the origin of the Zoanoid is revealed, and the scheming Guyver III who may be an allie or a foe – one of the mysteries for someone who has not seen the show - is introduced. As the series continues to be faithful to the manga, the pace of the action speeds up in this volume.
