The pint-sized detective really has some tough mysteries to crack this time. Stuck at a mansion with the murders piling up, Conan and fellow teen sleuth Harley are on the case. And this time it wasn’t the butler who did because he was just found dead!
Dangerous mansions and a Conan own version of The Orient Express sees Conan challenged in the latest set of mysteries. He may not be one step closer this volume to finding out how to get himself turned back into his normal teenaged self, but he’s hot on the trail of some of the most dangerous criminals yet, including a serial killer! The story continues the mansion mystery. Harley Hartwell and Conan are doing their best and accuse a man, but what if they got the wrong guy? The two big stories in these chapters though are the train murder and a trip to the beach that turns ugly real fast! On the train there are a lot of shifty characters and strange happenings. Then a body turns up. Witnesses say they saw the perpetrator jump off the train. If that’s so, then what has got Conan’s spidey sense tingling so strongly? Something is amiss and it only gets weirder when Conan’s parents show up! That’s right. The folks that prove just where Conan got his sleuthing genes from appear on the scene with their own brand of detective work. Risky is as risky does and this family is willing to use one of their own as bait to catch the killer! Conan seems to always run into trouble. And that definitely happens when he, Rachel and Serena hit the beach. Everything seems fine and Serena has even hooked up with a great guy. And then the bodies start showing up. Women have been brutally murdered and they all have the same thing in common - bleached blond hair. Just like Serena’s…It looks like if Conan doesn’t hurry, one of his friends could be the serial killer’s next target! IN SUMMARY: Great mystery and adventure that keeps you guessing. It’s great stuff, way smarter than Scooby Doo. This manga has the flair of film noir and old school detective nove |
