VIZ CLARIFIES SHONEN JUMP'S HIKARU NO GO |

While there's been multiple posting about Slamdunk replacing Hikaru No Go in Shonen Jump magazine, Viz Media clarifies its position on the topic:
This wasn't a 'replacement issue' - As in the case with all entertainment companies, we are constantly evaluating the titles we release and how they are released and at this present time this title is under evaluation. We do however still have the license to produce Hikaru No Go and it is still available for viewing on Toonami Jetstream.
