Inubaka has been a sweet ride of warm fuzzy feelings – and characters! – since the start. The latest volume has Suguri helping out a grieving family, and fans find out just how some of the regular customers of Woofles are doing. On top of that,  a new woman enters the life of Teppei and Suguri and she might be trouble!

The manga follows the formula it set with a lot of stand alone stories. The first is a mega tear jerker. The sweetest little girl in the world runs away from her mom and winds up at the dog store. Her and a cutie puppy bond and then she disappears with him! Well, Suguri and her dog Lupin are on top of it and track her down. The tale this little girl has to tell is heartbreaking and the story will undoubtedly leave not a dry eye in the house!

It’s not all Kleenex material. The manga moves on to show how Mari and Lucky are getting along. Her acting career is really taking off, and we see just how much little Lucky is helping her out in her job! And it seems that Kim’s good-looking dog Chanta is making him the most popular guy on campus! I love that the manga series keeps us, the readers, in touch with the customers and their pets. It’s heartwarming. Almost as warm as if you had a big Labrador retriever sleeping on top of you and twice as nice!

Big drama happens when a new girl, Momo, is hired to help with the booming grooming business. She seems sad all the time except when she’s working with the dogs. Teppei is trying not to get involved but we all know what a big softie he is! The guy has Suguri and that lazy bum Kentaro living at his place. And you know Suguri will get involved because she’s the biggest softie of them all! What secrets does Momo hold? Will she be a rival for the maybe they will/maybe they won’t (will it ever happen?) romance between Teppei and Suguri?

Plus look for more adorable doggie photos at the back of the manga!

IN SUMMARY:
A manga that proves not only dogs are man’s best friend – manga is too!
