Satoshi Kon to celebrate 10 years of his work with an exhibition at the Ganka Gallery in Shinjuku called "10 Years of Souvenirs"
It has been 10 years since Satoshi Kon made his directorial debut with Perfect Blue in 1998. His works also include the movies Millenium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers, and Paprika, the TV Series Paranoia Agent, and the collection of shorts Ohayou. To celebrate, there will be an exhibition with such "souvenirs" as copyrighted illustrations produced for movies, sketches, and private illustrations all collected under one roof. It will be called "10 Years of Souvenirs." As thanks to everyone for their continuing support, Kon himself is sponsoring an amateur event.
Event to be held at the Ganka Gallery in Shinjuku on March 1 - 12.
