As there is tension between AEGIS, the resistance movement, Revro and Lexy, Maria, Jina and Izare are pushed into a tirade of danger and confusion. Once Lexy declare war on AEGIS, this is the final straw, and everyone is sent into conflict.

Jino realises he is being watched by the stalker Lekia, who is also his classmate and approached as his hideout is revealed. This provides more atmospheric tension as he has to do something more than just tell her to leave him alone.

Maria and Jina escape the cruelty of the camp, yet Jina and Izare have thoughts of their own which are projected over miles, as the two of them have to cope in a war torn situation, which over the years has not healed. Once Ray Lee has hacked into the U.S. military defences, he finds himself in much more danger than even he imagined as the base is fired upon and almost completely destroyed with only a few survivors.

This volume has within it the mention of war and all its horrors. The idea of conflict, danger, and the not so normal existence people would have in that environment. It is also a sci-fi of magnificent proportions that does not lose the reader in technobabble, yet shows what it would be like on a form of earth set in the future and also in outer space.

There is the very real depiction of danger and destruction as the people flee earth on the brink of a very apocalyptic war in this artwork and it will wrap the reader into the story very easily.

The cover art of Izare, and interior art for this volume is amazingly attractive. It is the sensuality and beauty of the eyes and the flowing of the blond hair that is so lovely. Izare is drawn in a very handsome bishonen style but with the sci-fi elements of tattooing on his hand and arms.

There is an otherworldly look to all the volumes and in this one in particular. It is not surprising that readers of this will have been thrilled by it from the start, as a lot more is explained about Ray Lee and Jina in this volume and how they must get out of the various life threatening situations they are in.

This is a wonderful volume, which expands on the previous ones to date.

IN SUMMARY:
Jinha Yoo has created some of her grandest art to date. This is a touching tale of hope amid destruction and heartache.
