"Behold your demise!" - Chouji Suitengu.
After escaping Seiji Ochii in the underground, Saiga wakes from a dream that he is taking Kagura's photograph and in doing so, kills her. As it is so frighteningly real, it hurts him deeply as he feels as though he as abandoned her when they were separated at the airport. Partially blinded from Ochii's powerful soundwaves, he picks himself up, and makes his way back to an old friend's home where he is taken care of and bandaged up. Kagura and Ryogoku are trapped in the building and Dr. Ryogoku tells her through the walls about the possibility of saving her life. He has in his hands a journal Professor Nichiya dropped before, but all Kagura wants is to be reunited with Saiga. Captain Ginza is in a spot of trouble with the chief of Police who has her bound to a table while he intends to use her beautiful legs as a centre piece along with all the others he has collected in his house. She finds out he is a member of Suitengu's club, and that most on that list are corrupt politicians and even the Prime Minister. Ginza wants to make all this public knowledge, but to do that she needs to escape the clutches of this madman. Chouji Suitengu's club has just been reopened and all are there to witness it. Heads of state, doctors, staff, trusted people, businessmen all indulging in carnal acts in the secrecy of the place. Dr. Bob tends to Saiga and he gets his sight back, but he realises he must save Kagura - there is a deeper meaning in his life.Dr. Bob hands Saiga his camera and tells him to stay alive despite all the odds not being in his favor. Saiga still looks for Kagura, but instead finds Dr. Ryogoku at the Prime Minister's mansion. He breaks him out and they both try to find Kagura together. With what Chouji Suitengu has planned they had better get to Kagura in time as the final pawns have been put in place for an explosive end to this gripping story.
And Suitengu has plenty of thrills planned for the rich and powerful of Japan. The seedy underbelly of society who exist where corruption and money laundering is rife everywhere and no one is to be trusted. Kagura is revealled to be worth much more than she thoughts. She also has more meaning that was first thought possible later on. Captain Ginza has her own strengths and problems to sort out if she wants to get out of the evil doers lair alive, and find Saiga, but what can she do against him? There is a wonderfully interesting and unexpected revelation about a certain person's past life, his reasons for what he has done so far and it will make the viewer take the character's viewpoint as the story progresses in the episodes that follow. The movie - style ending where the credits are still rolling, yet more of the characters are shown is a lovely want of continuing the story. This is one of those anime which is not wonderful just for the animation, but it is great for the continued storyline, Which has grown considerably over the past five volumes. EXTRAS:

A sensational and fitting end to a brilliant saga of an anime. The showdown of the century has begun. Truly wonderful.
