Holy ninja madness Naruto fans! The Third Hokage is on the brink of death and defeat with the nasty Orochimaru in a lethal grip with the fate of the Leaf Village ridding on the outcome! But the biggest fight is in the woods where freaky Gaara has got both Sakura and Sasuke trapped and it’s up to Naruto all alone to get them out alive! Can he do it? Believe it!

The volume ends on episode 80 and it has not broken stride yet. The show keeps getting more dramatic, more intense, and throws more on the line as the story keeps building and action keeps exploding all over the place! The big duel with Gaara hits the fan this episode and you’ll find out who comes out on top in the end. There’s still more to Gaara’s back-story and its gut wrenching stuff! And he seems to have a lot in common with a certain ninja who has the spirit of a nine-tailed fox inside of him. Gaara cares for no one while Naruto would die for his friends. Which is stronger –love or hate? Naruto will find out in this all-out duel to the end with the creepiest foe he’s had to fight yet!

Meanwhile, back on the farm, the Third Hokage is giving it his all and then some. He’s still got some just surprises up his sleeve for evil Orochimaru! But before all is said and done, whether in the Leaf Village or in the fight with Gaara, some will have to pay the ultimate price in this ninja clash!

In the latest volume there’s also a new opening theme song, the adrenalin pumping “GO!!” to have fun with. Even if the gang beats Orochimaru, it’s gonna come at a cost. And keep your eyes peeled for a new villain to rise up, one that just might have something in common with Sasuke!
