A reckless free spirit with a mottled past and a shy but straightforward man fall in love and all the risks it entails in Love Share. When they first met, the quiet and constant Kazushi had his heart thrown into the maelstrom by his desire for the elusive and enigmatic Izumi. When unrequited love becomes irresistible desire, these two men embark on a relationship that will test their mettle, their hearts, and could even risk their lives.

A passionate romance and an intriguing mystery make for a compelling combination in this yaoi manga. A stand alone volume, it tells the tale of these two miss-matched lovers who, despite being polar opposites, only find sanctuary in each other’s hearts. It’s an engaging couple. Izumi is tempting with his air of mystery and danger. Kazushiro’s inability to resist Izumi and need to protect him is charming. When his lover disappears, a long held mystery is uncovered. But this secret is one that might drive these two men apart for good. Can they overcome the past to move ahead together in the future?

There are a few bonus stories after the main arc is completed. They reveal how the two first met and show slices of life between the two lovers. The art work throughout is engaging and has some enticing moments when passion meets tenderness. These two men come together out of heated despite, at times from desperation, but always because of love.

IN SUMMARY:
Love Share is an engaging romance between two very different young men who must overcome a mysterious past to create a future together.
