Evangelion: 01 - You're (Not) Alone, Tekkon Kinreet, Summer Days with Coo, Piano no Mori - The Perfect World of Kai -, and Detective Conan: Jolly Roger in the Deep Azure, are nominated for the Japan Academy Prize Associate for the 2008 Animation of the Year award. The winner will be announced at the 31st Japan Academy Prize Associate on February 15, 2008. This will only be the second time that this prestigious award will be given in the history of the award ceremony. The Girl Who Leapt through Time won the inaugural outstanding achievement this year.
