The attack on the Soul Society explodes into all out action when Team Ichigo gets blown out of a canon to invade the shielded area. It’s all to save Rukia before she gets whacked by her brethren. This will be no easy ride though because Ichigo and his buddies will have to fight through the entire Soul society to get her – if they can reach her before the axe falls!
It’s the war on the Soul society saga beginning this volume. Bleach is awesome and this is one of the best arcs yet. The group gets separated and they all have to face a big motley crew of freaky and heavy Soul Society dudes and they’re out for blood and then some! There are some gut-busting laughs with Ganju up against a pretty boy squad member with deadly skills. The big fight this volume goes to Ichigo naturally. He has to duel the sinister Ikkaku in one brutal match to the death! And even if Ichigo does survive the fight, there’s the squad captain “Kenny” looking for him and this guy is scary! It’s obvious from what you’ll witness here that saving Rukia isn’t going to be some simple snatch and grab. This is going to be a long haul battle-rama. The way Bleach is and the way we love it! This volume also has uber-cool new opening and ending animation and music. The start shows off the Ichigo team battling it out to try to save Rukia. It’s fast paced and the song “D-Technolife” is kick ass. Keep your eyes on the closing, the song’s named “Houkiboshi”, because it keeps changing, featuring a different Soul Society Squad every time. The battle to save Rukia and attack on the Soul Society goes full steam ahead in the latest exciting kick ass volume of Bleach! It’s awesome action! It will keep you on the edge of your seat!
