A young guy named Santa sure doesn’t live up to his name. He’s never had the Christmas spirit. Neglected by his folks, seemingly friendless, the guy has a major long lasting case of the humbugs. But one Christmas Eve there was a creature stirring all through the night and her name is Mai! This sweet and sexy girl claims she’s a Santa-in-training and her job is to make him feel the holiday cheer no matter what it takes!
This is fun, sexy and sweeter than candy. Based on the manga by Ken Akamatsu, Itsudatte My Santa is from the same creator who gave two big manga-turned-anime hits: Love Hina and Negima. Any fan of Love Hina comedy and romantic mayhem will love this gem under the tree. All sorts of magic powers, stolen kisses, and crazy magical fun happen in this anime special. You don’t just get one story of holiday fun and romance. This DVD has two tales. That’s two Christmases for the price of one! The second story sees Santa coming up on his next Christmas and man, has he changed. Seems he may have found the happy in the ho-ho-ho after all. But things aren’t simple, especially when a Santa-in-training falls in love! But Mai’s plan to confess gets turned upside down when her life is all of a sudden overflowing with a demanding younger sister and a fellow classmate. This fellow Santa-in-training has a few things to say to Mai. These two cuties have a history and the holiday hootenanny begins! This second story makes me think of the kind of antics and harem fun and mayhem you’d see in Ah! My Goddess and Love Hina. Both tales have great vivid colors, awesome character designs for the girls and some ultra-cool background animation. It’s dynamic, vibrant and just what Santa Claus ordered! EXTRAS:
