In the aftermath of their confrontation with Art, enemies turn on each other and allies may turn out to be the most treacherous of them all! Love, death and the supernatural, it’s all here in the latest volume of Tsukuyomi Moon Phase.

Psychically gifted human Kouhei and vampire girl Hazuki aka Luna, have come a long way since they first met that fateful night over a year ago. Now on the run again, they find sanctuary on a strange island about to celebrate a mystical festival that happens only once every fifteen years. There, the two grow closer, but others are stirring in the shadows to break up the unusual romantic pair, and some of those enemies might be far closer than Hazuki and Kouhei realize!

There’s a great deal happening in the latest volume of this supernatural series. Not all is well in Art’s camp either but it only firms her resolve to teach Luna the true pain of loss. Meanwhile there are still lots of comedic moments in the manga, particularly between Hazuki and Kouhei, and to some extent with the bickering between Hazuki and Hikaru. This manga also sees more developments in Kouhei and Hazuki’s romance. It fuels some of the most explicit imagery in the series so far between these two characters. But it’s not all wine and roses for these two. Something else is on the island with them, and the end of this volume leaves the readers on a cliffhanger with the appearance of an all new and deadly foe to be faced.

Manga extras include photos taken by the author and a drawing tutorial.

IN SUMMARY:
Kouhei and Hazuki grow closer just when enemies and friends alike moves against them. Tsukuyomi Moon Phase is a captivating supernatural manga adventure.
