The demonic familiar Keiichi is temporarily hosting in his human form is proving too much for this mere mortal to bear. Belldandy has a strategy to transfer the familiar but it fights back, intent on not relinquishing Keiichi as its host. The other goddesses, Skuld, Urd, and Peorth insist on helping by stopping Belldandy and getting rid of the familiar for good. Belldandy won’t allow it and it pits her against her sisters in a confrontation that could turn into an actual battle. It’s the fight for the demon in Keiichi’s soul in the latest volume of this enchanting and often surprising fairy tale.
There are some deeply touching and equally funny moments in the struggle over the ex-familiar Keiichi has melded with. After the end of the moving tale, the story goes into pure comedy when a rubber band fight between Urd and Skuld turns into an all out war of insane and hilarious proportions once Peorth gets involved. Magical cannons, otherworldly creatures, and spells galore turn this simple rubber band battle into a battle royal. Next is a sweet story about a special race of creatures that need Keiichi’s help. His talent for machinery is what is needed most in a tale of wonder and the power of the heart. The magic of the OMG series is how it contains so many sweet nuances to each story. This manga series is a true charmer for even the hardest heart. In addition, this latest volume holds more Adventures of the Mini-Goddesses specials, and also holds a special preview excerpt of the upcoming Oh! My Goddess novel. IN SUMMARY: The latest Oh!
