The Sound and Sand village shinobi have attacked the Hidden Leaf Village! Sakura, Naruto, Shikamaru and Ninja Hound Pakkun are sent after Sasuke who’s tracking the Sand ninja (can you say Gaara!). The Third Hogake and Orochimaru battle it out! It’s the fiercest volume of Naruto yet!
 
Whoa ninja fans, things have just gone extreme in Naruto! You’ve got 3 ninja in training and a dog out trying to catch up to Sasuke who’s hell bent on catching up to Gaara and his two comrades. But they’ve planned a trap for Sasuke. And the Naruto gang is being followed by a pack on Sound Village shinobi and they’re catching up! The danger is severe and it’s the unlikeliest of fellows steps up to the plate. Shikamaru, slacker extraordinaire, ends up being the guy who chooses to stay behind and face the Sound Village shinobi mini-army! Way to go slacker no more! It’s rough, the guy who only wanted to have an easy-going average life by only sticking to average performance is about to put on a performance his life will depend on. You go slacker ninja!

While that’s going down, Sasuke catches up with Tenmari, who’s stayed behind to buy the wounded Gaara time.  She sets a bunch of deadly traps and he falls right into them. Can Naruto and Sakura get to him in time? He still has that curse from Orochimaru. He’s got to watch out on how much chakra he uses, and his temper.

The big fight this round has got to be back at the Hidden Leaf Village with the deadly duel between the Hokage and Orochimaru. Fierce! The fight is awesome. Find out just how freaky Orochimaru is! He’s mastered all sorts of forbidden jutsu. The Hokage captured, the village in shambles…holy ninja battle Naruto fans!

During the fight you get to see the whole past between Orochimaru and the Hokage. And we get to learn the creepy reason why Orochimaru has targeted Sasuke! It’ll knock your socks off! It shocks and enrages the Hokage and he unleashes a forbidden jutsu of his own! Is this the end of Orochimaru or the end of the Hidden Leaf Village and the Third Hokage?
