At Oni-Con yesterday (October 21), ADV Films screened the first episode dubbed version of the highly anticipated comedy series The Wallflower. Right after the screening, the cast and crew fielded some questions from the fans with the director of the show Shinichi Watanabe. The fans really enjoyed the screening of the first episode, and there were howling and screaming throughout the entire time, especially from the female audience whenever they see naked beautiful males in the screen.

On stage is ADR Director Matt Greenfield, Greg Ayres (Yuki Toyama), Vic Mignogna (Takenaga Oda), Christopher Patton (Ranmaru Morii), Tiffany Grant (Miss Nakahara / Auntie), Josh Grelle (Kyohei Takano), Director Shinichi Watanabe, and Tomo (translator).

In addition, The Wallflower will screen the first volume at the Alamo Drafthouse on November 19 in San Antonio and November 20 in Houston, Texas.

	I was there and I was one of the females screaming at the half-naked males on screen. It looks like a fantastic show and I cannot wait to buy the disks. Great casting by ADV as always.    On another note the appearence of Shinichi Watanabe was a great honnor. The funniest thing that he said was that only he could direct an anime with half-naked men to make it enjoy able to all people. He of course makes his half-naked appearence in the show as well.
