It’s a hard fleeing time for the gang as they try to cut loose from the dangers of Misty Peak with Vivi. Zolo has the compass but Nami falls down sick and it’s a race for a cure with the bad guys hot on the Straw Hats tail!
This volume has the gang desperate for a cure to save Nami and on the run! Between her fever running high and a bottomless pit before them, the gang’s got to pull out all the stops and then some if they hope to save the day and their navigator’s life! Naturally it’d help loads if the navigator was well enough to help guide them! You betcha that the gang has a hard time finding their way without her help. But they manage to get to the Winter Islands. It’s chock full of icy weather, even colder people, and rabid man-eating rabbits! If you think that’s all something, wait until you meet the were-bull and later a special reindeer. And what’s special about him isn’t that this nose glows. He’s got talents that top Rudolph’s any day!
They need to find a freaky looking ancient witchdoctor with a penchant for rocker wear. But first they have to get through an army of man-eating rabbits, an avalanche, a sheer cliff, and more, all to get to the witchdoctor’s castle on high. If you think they couldn’t possibly deal with more, King Waffle, a real freak of a guy is hot on their trial. It seems everyone wants princess Vivi, and they’re willing to mow down villages and do whatever dirty scheme it takes to get her! This is one of their craziest adventures yet! Plus this disc has not the usual 5 but 6 whopping eps full of excitement and chortles. I thought I’ve seen everything when the were-bull chases them. But wait until you meet Tony Tony Chopper, he’s the witchdoctor’s assistant, a were-reindeer. Now I’ve seen everything! He’s cute, he’s useful, and he’s awful lonely. Just when the little guy is down in the dumps, it could be that crazy cat Luffy has the perfect idea to make the little guy’s day!
