STAR WARS YODA VS PALPATINE ARTFX STATUE
A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import!  From Episode III Revenge of the Sith, relive the epic battle between the respective masters of the Jedi and the Sith!  With Supreme Chancellor Palpatine ultimately revealed as the manipulative Darth Sidious, Grand Master of the Jedi Order, Yoda sets out to find Palpatine within the Senate chamber and eliminate him.

This gigantic ARTFX Statue measures over 15 inches long, and almost 11 inches tall (1/7th scale), with both of the figures being independent of the base, allowing you to position the characters as you like within the Senate diorama base.  The Force Lightning is cast in a dynamic, translucent material, and is also removable (via optional hands) for a variety of posing options.   Spectacularly detailed, from the wrinkles on the future Emperor’s face, to the texture pattern on Yoda’s robe, this piece stands as a fitting monument to two of the most powerful wielders of the Force.

DEVIL MAY CRY 3 VERGIL ARTFX STATUE
A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import!   From “Dante’s Awakening” comes the second of Kotobukiya’s DEVIL MAY CRY series of ARTFX Statues – Dante’s villainous brother VERGIL!

In addition to being a Demon-Human hybrid, Vergil is also the twin brother Dante and son of the Dark Knight Sparda. While you would think the two would share many common personality traits, but they are actually 180 degrees removed in almost every aspect, with Vergil projecting a serious and cold nature at all times. The brothers ultimately clash in the Demon world over the ownership of their Father’s Force Edge broadsword and amulet halves containing their Sparda’s power.

Vergil is outfitted with a variety of weapons, including his personal sword “The Yamato” and its sheath, or you can switch the piece to be displayed with the legendary Force Edge.  In addition, Vergil comes with two heads, allowing you to display him with his hair down (as shown in the climactic duel in the rain), which makes his likeness to his twin all the more obvious.  This stylish pvc statue measures in at approximately 11 inches tall, and comes with a special raised (and intricately detailed) display base.

SUPER ROBOT TAISEN – FINE SCALE MODEL KITS
A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import!   Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (also known as Super Robot Wars: Original Generation) is a famous video game and anime series featuring non-stop Robot vs Robot combat! Now available outside of Japan for the first time ever! 

Kotobukiya will have a new SRW Fine Scale Model Kit available for collectors and hobbyists almost every month!  Assembly of the figures is required, but painting is optional as the pieces are cast in different colored plastic.  Each mecha normally has over 300 individual parts and is marvelously engineered, as once the kits are completed, they are highly poseable action figures (usually with at least 20 points of articulation). In addition, each robot includes weapons and additional moving parts, such as opening ventilation or exhaust ports.  Included are pictorial assembly instructions.

German by way of Japanese for “Old Iron”, this 1/100th (big!) scale robot stands over 8 inches tall, and includes a bonus 3” tall Kyosuke Nanbu pilot figure!  The eyes (cameras for the pilot) and tip of the horn are illuminated by an LED light!  At the larger scale, this is one of the most deluxe releases, with more gimmicks and moving parts!

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import!    Now available in the US is the latest in the PERSONA series of games for PlayStation 2!   Actually a spin off from the MEGAMI TENSEI world, in which players will face a variety of demons, but set more in a day-to-day simulation game universe. 

Captain of the school’s boxing club, AKIHIKO SANADA battles against the Shadows in order to test himself and strengthen his combat training.  Able to shift into a variety of personas, Sanada san stands 7” tall (1/10th scale) as this stylish pvc statue.  Bonus parts can be used to display him with a pistol, or gearing up for fisticuffs.

As a special bonus, Sanada also includes a unique Audio CD containing an original audio drama from the Persona universes!  This CD has been recorded (in Japanese) exclusively for KOTOBUKIYA and cannot be found anywhere else!

Sanada-san comes with a special mirrored base, which can be connected to Hero (offered last month).

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import!   Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone has just been released in theaters in Japan, and now Koto brings you the first merchandise based on the Rebuild Of Evangelion!

The mysterious and alluring REI AYANAMI is captured in her white plug suit, while perched on a statue of the EVA-00 prototype.  Over 8 inches tall, this large 1/6th scale pvc statue is luxuriously detailed and rendered with the care that only sculptor Tsukuru Shirahige and Kotobukiya can attain.   In addition, the tips of Rei’s hair are cast in translucent material, permitting light to shine through, as well as reflecting her frail characteristics.
