Zatch and Kiyo are up against that big bad Russian mamodo and they’re in for the fight of their lives! Could this be it? Could Zatch get sent back to the mamodo world? The partnership of a lifetime might come to a violent end in the latest Zatch Bell!

But you know the little dude with the big heart won’t go down easy! The fight of Zatch against Bari is one of the toughest ever in the anime so far! Kiyo’s down and they’re having a hard time beating their latest adversaries. If Zatch wants to be the kind ruler he hopes for and end fighting in the mamodo world, he has to beat Bari first! No matter what! But if they lose, they’re going to have to deal with a harsh loss!

Zatch and Kiyo need so much time to recover from their last battle that the next two eps focus on other mamodos. First up is Ponygon. The funny pony thing wants to find the owner of his spell book. But when he hooks up with a dubious dude, he could be getting led down the wrong road. Too bad Zatch is as naïve as Ponygon! Could this bad guy be Ponygon’s master? Find out in this volume! It’s nothing too dramatic really. The ep’s fun, it’s fluffy, it’s even cute. Things get serious with the next episode though when Brago and Sheri get stuck on a snowy mountain and Sheri decides she’s had enough of Brago’s attitude! What’s up with this evil duo? Sheri hates mamodos, Brago hates humans, but these two need each other. Then this boy shows up who needs help, will Brago actually step up?

The last episode on this volume has Zatch and Kiyo discovering an ancient stone tablet with the same writing as Zatch’s spell book! What could this mean? They put their heads together to try to figure it out, but more tablets are popping up and one seriously creepy mamodo wants them all for himself!
