They all die! Just messin’ with ya. Seriously, I can’t tell you that or else I’d lose my job. I can say that this final volume of a mind-blowing anime series will see quite a few bodies littered on the ground. It’s one bitter harsh duel after another between the good guys and the...bad? See, here’s what makes the show really cool and messes with you at the same time, all those baddies usually have pretty good reasons for what they’re doing. You’ll learn about them and you’ll weep for any of their passing just as much as any of the good types that fall. It all comes down to a final showdown at Tokyo Tower, site of the final barrier, the final confrontation, the final blow that will determine if humanity will be saved. And wow, if it isn’t sweet in that “Holy @#$%*! Did they just do that?!” way that only anime, only X the anime, can. You’ll be floored. If the tremendous Gothic animation isn’t enough reason, this killer story is. That’s all I can say without giving too much away. If you want Gothic futuristic anime about psychics, therapy needed, beautiful battles, even more beautiful women, stupendous animation and a story that will leave your jaw unhinged, then pick up and watch X. You’ll never forget it. EXTRAS: This volume’s extras include a limited release gold foil cover, Geneon previews, and an image gallery. IN SUMMARY: Why are you reading the summary? You already know this is one of the coolest mess- with-your-mind anime series out there! Go, watch! |
