Based on the .hack//G.U video game, hack//G.U Trilogy OVA has been announced will go on sale on January 25, 2008 in Blu-ray and DVD format in Japan. Bandai Visual Japan will release the all CG OVA, a promotional video will be release on September 20 during the Tokyo Game Show 2007 in Tokyo, and the PLAYSTATION Network is schedule to release the teaser trailer. Both DVD format will include a 96 page .hack//G.U. World Guide" booklet.
