It’s payback time for Naruto when he faces off against Neji. He owes the snob super ninja some mega payback and now is the time, the place and Naruto is about to call in that chip!

But before he can, Neji tells him a little story right in the middle of their super battle. He gives us the whole low down on his childhood and whines and complains about how unfair it all was. As if that excuses how he treated Hinata! Nuh-uh! Neji’s all hateful. Naruto tries to set him straight but with no more chakra he has to rely on what he has left – the nine-tailed fox spirit sealed within him!

This whole Neji – Naruto fight is awesome! It’s been the best battle so far out of the whole series. It’s tense, it kicks butt, and wow, it keeps you on the edge of your seat guessing the outcome until the very end! That’s not all the excitement in this volume but it sure does steal the show. There are other matches going on though. Neji needs to find peace with himself and his life. Personally I’m hoping he gets his butt kicked good. He’s had it comin’.

Next in the round of the final matches is laid back slacker Shikamaru and vicious ninja girl Temari. Shadow skills versus Temari’s fierce battle ways will have Shikamaru wondering if it’s all worth it. These two are big time strategists and it’s a battle of wits as much as wills in this match. We get a look inside Shikamaru’s head, his life, and his lack of ambition. This slacker extraordinaire is hiding some hefty skills. When it’s all said and done and the dust clears, the ultimate winner will surprise ya! And we still don’t know just what has happened to curse-marked Sasuke!
