A brand spanking new student named Sui starts at an all male boarding school. His dorm manager is dark and handsome cool boy Daiki that everyone calls “King”. A crush from afar grows intense, but when the King takes notice of sweet and pretty Sui, the model student turned bad boy does some very bad things to Sui! Now Sui’s best friend Sou is after the king’s throat and who knows who’ll end with whom!  One thing is certain, someone’s being taught a lesson. The only question is who?

This story might sound familiar but this isn’t Gakuen Heaven. It’s more explicit, more fast paced, and more naughty. There’s even a little rough stuff thrown into these kinky works. It’s done by the same yaoi talent that gave us Level C. It’s fun (When is an all male boarding school not a promising den for yaoi fans to voyeuristically enjoy?), a teeny weenie bit over dramatized (We eat up the melodrama like cotton candy don’t we yaoi fans?) and definitely a touch (or several) racy! The bad King getting rough with innocent Daiki would normally be either the start of a very sordid affair or the end of one in yaoi. But with Sui, he wonders what is wrong with his emotionless King. The more he learns, the more he takes it upon himself to teach his King about love. It seems all around good student and hidden bad boy Daiki has a lot to learn, and this little tempting angel is the perfect one to teach him!

Now I know what my fellow yaoi fans are wondering:  are there explicit sex scenes? You betcha! Anyone familiar with the racy Level C knows what to expect. The art is alright and there are a couple of great sex scenes.

A King’s Lesson is a yaoi that fans of Gakuen Heaven and Level C will both enjoy.
