The atmosphere that evening was different as fans anticipated the advance screening of the show for weeks. Everyone was excited about the show. You could tell it would be a special evening when fans of the game were asking questions even before the start of the screening. With over one hundred fans showing and staying put in their seats, and eagerly waiting what would happen from one episode to the next, you knew that it would be something special. And although the screening was not as big as the Nabeshin event that was held earlier in the year, the overall feeling was the same. Best of all, the fans had the chance to interact with the stars of the show.

To make that evening even more special, voice actors David Deveaney, Jr., Josh Grelle, Clint Bickham, George Manley, Andrew Love, Greg Ayres, Brittney Karbowski, John Gremillion, Stephanie Wittels, and ADR Director Christopher Ayres were present to make the screening into an extraordinary event.

Lead character voice actor and first time attendee Stephanie Wittels received a warm Anime at the Alamo welcome from the fans when she was introduced. John Gremillion was nicely introduced by Christopher Ayres, as he showed his approval and admiration to his voice acting performance of Albedo in the show.

For Christopher Ayres, who played the video game all day and night to prepare for the series, had nothing to worry about with his second foray in the ADR directing bring warmly accepted by the fans. With the overwhelming approval of the fans at the Alamo Drafthouse, Xenosaga The Animation will be well received way beyond the walls of the cinema, and all we can do at this point  is to  wait for the second volume to premiere at the drafthouse!
