This is it Battle Vixen fans, the last volume from Tokyopop! Weep my friends, weep for the loss of the babe fest and supreme fan service that only Yuji Shiozaki can give. Weird but true, this isn’t the actual last volume in Japan. It goes on there, but for some reason the rest of the series hasn’t been licensed here. 

For anyone not familiar with Battle Vixens the manga, maybe you heard of a kick ass anime called Ikki Tousen? This is the manga it’s based on. It’s all about dimwitted but babe-o-licious Hakufu who enters Nanyo Academy. This place is known for its fighters and surprise, surprise, this twit of a girl may be the biggest bad ass of them all! You see these fighters are all reincarnations of warriors from an actual historic battle in Japan’s history. Now we find out if these few guys and many, many sexy gals will repeat their violent history or change their fate!

Cool fact number one:  most of these revered and feared warlords and warriors have been reincarnated into mega-babes.

Cool fact number two:  the wonderful Yuji Shiozaki (praise!) offers us incredible eye popping fan service whenever these babes do anything, from getting dressed, to fights, to just plain opening up their locker, the angles and art are all about the eye candy!

In this volume my personal favorite Kanu is still a hostage with those bad dudes while Hakufu is off trying to tame her Water Dragon Spirit powers. Kanu gets tortured, and Sousou, the big bad that Hakufu has to get strong enough to defeat, is plotting and doing insane psycho things like offing his own guys. Why? Cuz he’s an insane psycho.

Kanu may be a hostage but you know with her ultra-cool fighting skills, everything is not as it seems. But Sousou has a few surprises for the battling vixen –watch out Kanu! Then Hakufu is at last named head of Nanyo, now she just has to get control of that Water Dragon battle power. She goes for some extreme training. The worst of it includes her having to face a fighter who literally sets the battle on fire! He won’t hold back and the volume ends on big battle cliffhanger, coincidentally literally on a cliff! 

IN SUMMARY:
Hakufu finally takes her rightful place as leader of the school, Kanu has to choose sides, and Sousou makes a move! It’s Battle Vixens knockout time baby!
