Two straight guys and five girls crazy about yaoi make for one fun and crazy ride in Aoi House in Love!

This is the next season if you will of original English language manga AOI House. That’s right. Those two mediocre guys and those five absolutely insane girls are at it again. This time it’s road trip baby! The gals pack up those two clueless boys for the upcoming con (short for convention). These guys have no idea what they’re in for. But you bet we’ll enjoy watching every madcap antic, each fan service shot, and every manga and anime reference that sly writer works in!

A cool thing about this volume is that if you haven’t read the first series, no problem, the book gives you a decent summary at the beginning and some character info to clue you in on what the skinny is at this crazy college house of guys and gals. Plus the road trip story is the bulk of this volume and is pretty much self-contained.

The Hatsu-Con road trip and event is a riot. The AOI House (which is really YAOI) meets their rivals – URI House! That’s right, just like AOI, these college kids dropped the “Y” meaning they’re really YURI fan girls and boys (quick info for those not in the know:  yaoi is about guy on guy action, yuri is about lesbian themed manga and anime)! This clash of the fan houses is hilarious, a riot, crazy fun! Hatsu-Con is a comedic bomb of comedy that explodes with laughs.

It’s the first con trip ever for the guys as all of AOI house hits the road. A bit more love is in the air for hyper Morgan and laid back Alex. But hold up, Elle is getting her knickers in a twist. Is she jealous of MorgEx? If so, then what’s that sizzle going on between her and the head guy of URI House? Things that make you go Hmmm. All that takes a back burner to the insane battle of the houses when they challenge each other to one off-the-wall battle after another. It’s Yuri-jitsu versus Yaoi-jitsu, cosplay battles, and DDR duels, plus a big wet whammy on I won’t say who! You’ll have to read the book to find out!

The fun tongue in cheek, the sly and clever jokes, all the winks to anime and manga fans with the references to scads of series…this is the wacked out comedic brilliance of AOI House. Sit back, read and bust a gut laughing!
The book also has all sorts of extra goodies like character rundowns, Fan Art, Aoi Notes, Rejected Yuri ideas, Aoi House Character Dossier, and 8 full color pages of comic panels!

IN SUMMARY:
Aoi House is the next evolution in manga comedy! Yuri versus Yaoi, the battle fans have been dying to see!
